FCDC AND CARRINGTON VILLAGE

For over 35 years, Family Collective Day Care (a 501c3 organization) has operated in the Ward F Community. The primary focus for over 32 years has been mentoring and educating youth in the community through our daycare centers, summer program and afterschool program.

Now rebranded under the name FCDC Community, it is still a family-run operated business that caters to the needs of the Jersey City Community, at-risk youth, and families in need. Since its inception, we have been a safe haven for the community through our dedication to empowering and motivating families from low-income and underserved neighborhoods.

Carrington Village's name comes from a section of the island of Barbados. The outdoor space has been named Carrington Village in honor of our homeland. Within the village, children have space to play, learn business practices, etc. The outdoor space has been used by members of the community and organizations looking to rent the space for activities.

Donations and in-kind donations allow us to provide service and programming to the community we not only live in, but also serve.
